Doja Cat released the long-awaited video for “Like That” on Thursday (June 25), an eye-popping visual that mixes space-age animation with futuristic sets. With Doja chilling in her planet-painted blue room in a peekabo white bikini top and matching thong with vinyl half-chaps, the singer dances through the glowing space surrounded by four dancers in similar outfits wearing white masks with cat ears.
By the time the first verse comes around, Doja is transformed into an anime superhero with flowing hair as the scene shifts between the cartoon world and a real one, where the screen is invaded by animated spaceships that Doja flicks away with her finger. Guest Gucci Mane shows up for his verse mid-way through, chilling on a luxury ride with hand-drawn dollar signs filling his sunglasses.
The bouncy “Like That” is the latest single from Doja’s breakthrough album, Hot Pink, following on the heels of her first No. 1 single, “Say So.”
