On Thursday night (April 9), REVOLT TV will host a two-hour-long live town hall meeting at 11 p.m. ET moderated by Sean “Diddy” Combs to discuss how COVID-19 is affecting the African-American community at large.
Joining Combs for the “State of Black America & The Coronavirus” discussion will be Sen. Kamala Harris, Angela Rye, Meek Mill, the Rev. Al Sharpton, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Van Jones and more. Talking points for the town hall meeting will include “dealing with the public health issue, the low-income effect, incarceration and economic relief, and the mental toll of quarantine.”
Last weekend, Combs urged fans to “get involved” in the battle against COVID-19. “We can’t just sit back and leave our healthcare workers abandoned and unprotected,” he captioned his three-minute PSA on Instagram. “Over the next few days I’ll be locked in and focused on finding ways to directly support our healthcare workers but I don’t have all the answers. If you want to help or have any great ideas, please reach out to me now! God bless us all.”
Tune in at 11 p.m. ET on REVOLT TV to watch the emergency town meeting in its entirety.
