Washington, D.C. – DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch are set to headline the 2020 Broccoli City Festival. The annual fest will return to Washington, D.C. the weekend of May 7-9 at the newly renovated Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
Other performers will include Ari Lennox, Burna Boy, Doja Cat, IDK, Lucky Daye and more, including unannounced special guests. Last year’s headliners were Childish Gambino and Lil Wayne.
Festival tickets will go on sale on Friday (January 24) at 10 a.m. EST, with general admission starting at $79. According to the Broccoli City website, this year’s festival will add carnival rides, selfie art activations, VIP lounges, a cannabis experience and more.
“As a black-owned, millennial-led festival, we take great pride in our ability to create safe and authentic spaces for the black community to gather and celebrate the beauty of our culture,” festival founders Brandon McEachern and Marcus Allen told Billboard. “At a time like this, it’s imperative for us to protect these spaces and encourage one another to make their voices heard, which is why our return to Washington, D.C. is so important.”
