Billie Eilish has released an isolated vocals version of ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft‘ – with fans invited to remix the album via BandLab.
According to the ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer’s official webstore, the new digital version of Eilish’s third album “has been updated and enhanced to include a special version with Billie’s isolated vocals”. The new version of the record only features her vocals and excludes all instruments.
Fans who have already purchased a copy of the standard digital LP will automatically receive the download of the new isolated version.
BandLab – a free online Digital Audio Workstation tool with social media and distribution functions for creating, sharing and selling music – have also teamed up with Interscope on an exclusive giveaway.
They will be giving away an exclusive merch pack consisting of an autographed vinyl pressing of ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ and a pair of tickets to her upcoming ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ 2024-2025 world tour – which is set to kick off this Autumn.
To enter the giveaway, fans should leave comment under BandLab’s post on their website in response to the question: “Which song from the album inspires you creatively and why?”.

Those who reside in America or Australia are also invited to download the exclusive digital album with isolated vocals, create a remix, and post a link. The giveaway ends on June 28.
In a four-star review of ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’, NME shared: “Billie came into this process with aspirations to find herself, creatively and personally: ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love.
“In trying to write an album for herself, she’s made one that will resonate harder than anything she’s done before.”
In other news, Eilish recently revealed that she considered naming the album ‘Patheticville’, after a legendary quote from the US version of The Office.
Elsewhere, some Eilish fans believe that there may be a second half to the album yet to be released. The final line on the record is “But when can I hear the next one?”, leading some to speculate that there could be a similar situation to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, which was swiftly followed by a surprise second half ‘The Anthology’ just hours later.
