Beyonce is back with another serving of “Black Parade,” but this time, she slings out the a capella version to her celebratory anthem.
On Friday (June 19), in honor of Juneteenth, Queen Bey released the original song with hopes of honoring small Black-owned businesses.
“Happy Juneteenth Weekend! I hope we continue to share joy and celebrate each other, even in the midst of struggle. Please continue to remember our beauty, strength and power,” she wrote in her Instagram post.
Subsequently, she doled out her stout “Motherland Drip” playlist, which also paid homage to Juneteenth. Artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Jay-Z, Nipsey Hussle and more, found a home on Bey’s splashy collection.
