The 8-Bit Big Band have announced a series of 2025 US headline shows as well as their first ever UK gig.

The video game jazz orchestra will be playing a string of shows across North America later this year, in support of their upcoming fifth album ‘Orchestrator Emulator’ which is due for release July 18.

The band have become famous for their reimagined versions of classic video game hits from Mario, The Legend Of Zelda, Persona 5, Portal, Final Fantasy, Sonic The Hedgehog and more. The tracklisting for their new album hasn’t been confirmed yet though.

The The 8-Bit Big Band tour will kick off at Seattle’s Moore Theatre on August 30 before visiting Dallas’ House Of Blues in November. In December, the group will play New York, Los Angeles and Boston. The 8-Bit Big Band have also confirmed their first ever London headline show. The band will be playing Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 3. Check out the full list of tour dates below.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at Friday (June 13) at 10am local time and can be found here.

In other news, Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2 is now its fastest-selling console of all time. 3.5million units of the the bigger, more powerful console have been sold since it launched last week, with Nintendo expecting to shift 15million in the next 12 months.
