The court battle between Offset and his oldest daughter’s mother continues on.
According to a report from The Jasmine Brand on Thursday (July 2), the Migos rapper has filed documents in court to request his daughter with Nicole Algarin – who raps under the name Shyla L’amour – has her name changed to Kalea Marie Algarin Cephus. Currently, she only has her mother’s last name. He’s also seeking joint psychical custody.
In October 2019, L’Amour formally requested more child support in court, to which Offset filed documents stating both parties should be financially responsible for their 5-year-old. The matter has not yet been decided by a judge.
Outside of Kalea, Offset has three other children with three other women. His oldest son Jordan is 8, his son Kody is 3 and Kulture, his daughter with wife Cardi B, turns two this month.
Back in April, L’amour exposed her baby’s father and shared receipts claiming he has been trying to have sex with her behind Cardi’s back. In screenshots of messages between L’amour and Offset dated nearly a year after he tied the knot with the Bronx rapper, she alleged that denying him sex has caused him to neglect their daughter.
“Now you know why we’re here,” she wrote. “I could have worked his ass and had whatever I want if I wanted to but I PASSED!!! Still shouldn’t take that out on your seed.”
