Join in a global singalong to the Beatles’ 1968 animated classic.

You’ve done the drive-by birthday party, zoom bar mitzvah, virtual dance party and every single TikTok challenge there is already. So why not dig out that puffy paisley shirt flared pants for a global singalong to the Beatles‘ Yellow Submarine?

The beloved 1968 animated film will be broadcast on Saturday (April 25) on the Fab Four’s YouTube channel at 12 p.m. EST, with fans encouraged to dress up and share their looks on social media. “All aboard for the Yellow Submarine Singalong YouTube Watch Party!,” reads a statement about the event. “Join us for The Beatles’ celebration of love, music, and surfacing from strange seas into a beautiful world free of the Blue Meanies!”

“Escape with us to a place where, for a little while, nothing is real. Have some fun! Dress up as your favourite character from the film or in your Beatles finest. Share your photos and videos with us of you singing along at home and tag them #YellowSubLive. Following the film, we’ll be sharing your images and videos on Instagram Stories.”

A remastered version of the movie hit theaters in 2018 for a 50th anniversary celebration. Check out Ringo Starr’s invitation to join him beneath the waves on Saturday.
