Freddie Gibbs has a new hat line. The Gary, Indiana-bred rapper quietly launched the Good Crack brand, which includes a website where fans can purchase two different dad hats.
The minimalist website opens up with a lookbook for the two hats, hilariously named “Good Crack Dad-Cap” and “D’fuck Dad Cap.” The former is a black cap with “good crack” written across the front panels, while the latter is blue and reads “D’fuck.”
Stitched into the side panels is a Snoopy-like cartoon dog wearing a red bodysuit and blue cape. On the canine superhero’s chest is a “G” with two lines sticking out above and below – the “G Money” emblem seen on Gibbs’ ESGN records merchandise.
While Gangsta Gibbs has other merchandise on his ESGN label’s store – all of which is currently sold out – the Good Crack range is only available through the low-key site.
The new dad hats are also certified “Made in MT. Kane.” Fans who’ve seen the “Crime Pays” music video – the second single off Gibbs and Madlib’s GroovyTracks 2019 album of the year Bandana – will recognize the fictitious Mt. Kane as the zebra farm Gibbs runs.
