Cold War Kids frontman Nathan Willett took over Billboard‘s Facebook page Tuesday (March 31) to raise money for My Friend’s Place with a Billboard Live At-Home concert.

Streaming live from his home studio in Los Angeles, Willett kicked off his solo set with the band’s 2017 single “Can We Hang On?” before segueing into “So Tied Up” from the same album, L.A. Divine.

“Yeah, we’re off the cuff this morning, you guys. We don’t have a schedule. We are somewhat winging it, as you can tell,” Willett laughed to fans as he moved to the piano to perform Cold War Kids’ 2006 single “We Used to Vacation.” Eventually, the singer gave in to multiple fan requests asking to hear 2007’s “Hospital Beds,” calling the fan-favorite track “extremely appropriate, maybe too much so” given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic around the globe.

During the set, Willett also performed the indie rock outfit’s latest offering “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?” and wrapped up the set with arguably their most popular song, “First,” which spent seven weeks at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Alternative Songs chart in 2015.
