In the weeks leading up to his death, Pop Smoke — who was shot and killed in February at the age of 20 — spent time with Quavo in Paris to film the music video for their collaboration “Shake the Room.”

In the visual, which was shot by designer, OFF-WHITE founder and Louis Vuitton artistic director Virgil Abloh, follows the rappers as they sip wine, enjoy a meal (and the company of their fellow diners), hang out in the kitchen of the restaurant and then and peel through the streets of the City of Light in a Ferrari Pista. Paris provides a stunning backdrop for their jol night out, and Pop Smoke and Quavo are all smiles as they trade verses on the track while hyping up themselves — and everyone around them — through their wild night out.

In a post he shared on Instagram following the premiere of the video on Saturday night (March 28), Abloh offered up the video’s backstory: “[Pop Smoke’s] impact will live on thru the art he left us. in this case it was the night after the Louis show while we had the cameras rolling inside & outside a typical French restaurant in my neighborhood.”

“Shake the Room” is off Pop Smoke’s second mixtape, Meet the Woo 2, the last recorded effort he released before his passing.
