Grammy Award-nominated rapper Tyga has signed with London Entertainment for management. The Los Angeles-based firm is headed by Dre London, whose client roster also includes artists Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh.

“Tyga resonates with fans all over the world because of his feel-good music and vibe,” London tells Billboard. “I’ve seen and studied his global appeal and over the last two years, I’ve also come to know him as a friend. Together, we will take his genuine magic to the next level.”

Adds Tyga, “The success Dre has had with Post Malone is definitely a huge selling point. But I’m also excited because I believe you meet some people for a certain reason. Being a manager is more than just about the music. It’s everything that has to do with the artist’s life; a 360-degree thing. Dre is someone who also cares about the artist as a person and not just about the business. It’s important to be surrounded by people who actually care.”

Under a multi-million deal with Columbia Records announced last October, Tyga just released a new single and video, “Freak” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. It follows the success of “Ayy Macarena” which totals nearly a quarter of a billion streams per Columbia. Tyga also dropped a remix of the track featuring Latin superstar Ozuna.

Over the course of his career thus far, Tyga has rung up a string of multiplatinum singles and top 10 hits on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Those records include “Rack City,” “Faded” featuring Lil Wayne, “Ayo” with Chris Brown and, most recently, the six-times platinum “Taste” featuring Offset. The latter appears on Tyga’s seventh studio album, 2019’s gold-certified Legendary. The project, released on the rapper/entrepreneur’s own Last Kings Records through Empire Distribution, also featured guest turns by Brown, J Balvin, Lil Wayne, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Gunna.
